Democrats are still waiting to see if Houston Mayor Bill White will step in to the party’s race for Texas Governor.  The speculation over him joining the race has already generated more buzz then the current candidates have been able to garner.  But if he does sign up to run — his candidacy could have a big effect down the ballot, in both statewide and legislative races.
