Congressional Quarterly’s latest rankings of congressional races has only three Texas contests in the “likely” category, two on the Democratic side and one on the Republican side.

That’s another way of saying that no Texas races, by that publication’s estimation, belong in the more vulnerable “leans” or “tossup” categories.

The three they’ve got as likely to remain unchanged include CD-10, held by Mike McCaul, R-Austin; CD-17, Chet Edwards, D-Waco; and CD-23, Ciro Rodriguez, D-San Antonio.
