Tired of waiting for the state to provide swine flu vaccine locations, The Dallas Morning News took matters into its own hands.

This is a pretty sweet -- and useful -- public health tool.

The Dallas Morning News got sick of waiting for the state health department to release locations of health care providers where the swine flu vaccine is available. So they filed an open records request for state vaccine shipments and built their own searchable database.

Sorry — it only covers North Texas for now. You can search by city, county, zip code -- even your own doctor's office.
