On the subject of nits picked -- in a very good way -- Aron Pilhofer of the New York Times just posted a long and thoughtful critique of our site. As I told him in an email, some of his comments I agreed with and will address immediately, others I'm thinking about, and still others I simply disagree with (agreeably, as ever). All in all, extremely helpful. We'll be better as a result.
