Larry Gonzales, who worked in various capacities during nine legislative sessions, currently represents HD-52 in Williamson County.

The Alvin native graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 with a degree in government and is currently pursuing a master's in public administration at Texas State University.

Gonzales was a former aide to Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and was the assistant vice chancellor for governmental relations for the Texas State University System. He owns a graphic design and communications company.

He is currently a member of the Government Affairs Committee in the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce.
