Tribpedia: Griffin Perry

Griffin Perry is the son of Texas Gov. Rick Perry and a sometimes volunteer for his father's gubernatorial and presidential bids. The younger Perry worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank in Dallas until leaving to join his father on the presidential trail. Griffin's small-government parents blamed Federal Election Commission rules for the fact that he had to give up his job to start campaigning. Griffin is married and has a younger sister, Sydney.

Griffin used a much-watched Twitter feed during his father's presidential campaign to lob attacks at the Texas governor's GOP opponents.
