Interactive: Campaign Finance Analyzer

Campaign finance reports reveal, in detail, the individual transactions of political committees. They aren't made for analysis, though, so we've pulled together a quick way to find the biggest donors, the most generous ZIP codes (and states), the distribution of large and small donations to the committees of state leaders and declared and potential statewide candidates, and how much money came in for every date of a reporting period. The latest reports cover the first six months of 2013; state officeholders were barred from raising money during the legislative session and through June 16.

Note: Not all of the reports have been processed by the Texas Ethics Commission; we'll add them as they become available.
