Bill Zedler is the representative of Texas’ House District 96, first elected in 2003.

He is serving on the Public Health and the Special Purpose Districts committees. He previously served as the vice chair of the Public Education committee and was a member of the Business and Industry, House Administration, Select Interim Committee for Child Welfare and Foster Care, and the Communities in Schools Select Advisory committees. He supports the Republican party and is a board member for the Texas Conservative Coalition and the Young Conservatives of Texas.

Zelder is a 30-year Arlington resident working in the healthcare industry.

He received his master's degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University. In 1967, following his graduation, Zedler entered the Army and served in Vietnam. He earned the Army Commendation Medal for his service.

Zedler and his wife, Ellen, have three adult children and six grandchildren.
