In its first 10 years, The Texas Tribune helped many of Texas' residents learn more about their state Legislature and the effects of the laws that lawmakers passed. Over the next 10 years, the Tribune will expand its efforts to inform and engage more Texans who are affected by the policies we cover.

More than 2 million people read Texas Tribune articles every month, but only 12,000 of those readers also donate to support the news they count on. Not even 1% of readers!
