Reminder: Texas Water Symposium on Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer

What: The Texas Water Symposium will explore the health and long-term sustainability of the Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer.
Who: Organized by the Texas State University Geography Department, the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, and the Hill Country Alliance, the symposium will be moderated by Robert E. Mace, Deputy Executive Administrator, Water Science and Conservation, Texas Water Development Board.
Panelists will include Bill Hutchison, former Groundwater Resources Director of the Texas Water Development Board and practicing hydrogeologist; James Bene, practicing hydrogeologist, principal at R.W. Harden & Associates, Inc.; George Rice, practicing hydrogeologist; and Steve Young, practicing hydrogeologist, principal at INTERA Geosciences.
The symposium is a partnership project of Schreiner University, Texas Tech University, Texas Public Radio and the Hill Country Alliance.
