The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University is sponsoring a Fourth of July weekend celebration at Spring Lake that will include nature walks and children's activities at Discovery Hall.

The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University is sponsoring a Fourth of July weekend celebration at Spring Lake that will include interpretive nature walks and hands-on children's activities. A free screening of the film "Written in Water," focusing on the Ogallala Aquifer and groundwater depletion in the High Plains region, will run from 3 to 4 p.m. on July 2-4 in the Discovery Hall.
