Brackish Groundwater To Get More Attention in 2016

Brackish groundwater will take center stage in 2016 with a new Department of the Interior survey in September and with San Antonio opening the first phase of the world's largest inland desalination facility in October.

The year 2016 will bring issues of brackish groundwater to the surface with a new survey of brackish aquifers to be published in September by the Department of the Interior's WaterSMART initiative. San Antonio in the following month plans to open the first phase of what will be the world’s largest inland desalination facility. (Circle of Blue)
