Trib+Water is a newsletter published every two weeks by The Texas Tribune and the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University. Curated by longtime journalist Carol Flake and edited by Tribune Newsletters Editor John Reynolds, Trib+Water includes the top news, events, research, data and other features on water issues in Texas, as well as relevant issues across the region and nation.
Flake has written and edited for top state and national publications, including the Boston Globe, U.S. News & World Report, Vanity Fair, Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine and Texas Monthly. She edited and wrote the annual report for Texas Parks & Wildlife for many years, as well as several influential reports on the subject of water and conservation in Texas, including "Taking Care of Texas: A Report from the Governor's Task Force on Conservation" and "Texas Parks and Wildlife for the 21st Century."
Trib+Water is a content partnership - not a financial one - between The Texas Tribune and the Meadows Center at Texas State. Separately, the Meadows Foundation is a donor to The Texas Tribune; the Texas State University System is a corporate sponsor of The Texas Tribune.
