The U.S. Department of Education has released a free, online survey tool on par with those used by wealthy districts and charter schools to measure school climate. Many education experts agree school climate is critical to overall school success, especially when surveys can pinpoint specifics, such as the need for more responsive anti-bullying tactics or conflict resolution policies.
