Ifill has covered six presidential campaigns and moderated two vice presidential debates — the 2004 face-off between Vice President Dick Cheney and U.S. Sen. John Edwards, and the 2008 matchup between U.S. Sen. Joe Biden and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. This summer, Ifill co-hosted PBS' coverage of the 2012 Republican and Democratic National Conventions.
On Sunday, Sept. 23, Ifill will speak about the 2012 presidential election at The Texas Tribune Festival.
