Craig Goldman has served three terms as a Texas State Representative, having originally been elected in November of 2012. He represents House District 97, which encompasses southwest Tarrant County.
Before taking office, Representative Goldman experienced a career in both business and political fields. For nearly a decade, he and his father ran a retail gourmet food and fine wine store in Fort Worth, and he worked on campaigns helping to elect Republican office holders at the local, state and national level.
Representative Goldman is extremely proud of his Texas roots as a 5th generation Texan and a 4th generation native of Fort Worth. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a partner in several real estate investment companies. Craig and his wife, Auryn, reside in Fort Worth, Texas.
During the 85th Legislative Session, Representative Goldman was appointed to serve on the Licensing and Administrative Procedures Committee, the Transportation Committee, the Committee on House Administration, and the Select Committee on Texas Ports, Infrastructure, and Innovation. Representative Goldman was also appointed to serve as Chairman for the Republican Caucus Policy Committee.
