New field guide issued for Spring Lake species

A new field guide for the remarkable flora and fauna of Spring Lake in San Marcos has just been published by the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University.

A new field guide for the remarkable flora and fauna of Spring Lake in San Marcos has just been published by the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University. "The Spring Lake Pocket Field Guide" includes more than a hundred species, some of them unique, that can be found at Spring Lake, including amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, trees, shrubs, vines, wildflowers and aquatic plants.
