New Mississippi Law Jeopardizes Rights of Students
Many legal experts and policy experts are warning that Mississippi’s new religious freedom law may affect children in public and private schools. Under the law, school officials could legally block access to restrooms, enforce gender-conforming dress codes and prevent LGBT students from receiving equal services in both schools.
