Wendy Davis Gets the Taiwanese Animation Treatment

Nobody does the news quite like Taiwan-based Next Media Animation, whose latest storyline is Fort Worth Democratic state Sen. Wendy Davis' filibuster of a bill that would have added restrictions on abortion.

As Next Media Animation frames it, Davis — clad in a Superwoman costume and with the help of the ghost of former Texas Gov. Ann Richards — defeated the giant fire-breathing robot dinosaur that was Senate Bill 5, which apparently arose out of fear of the same demographic trends that would turn a "Jefferson Davis Elementary School" into "The Jeffersons Elementary School."
