Transparency Committee to Question UT System Officials

High-ranking University of Texas System officials are expected to appear before the House Select Committee on Transparency in State Agency Operations on Wednesday to answer questions about recent developments at UT-Austin.

Political Landscape Shifts as Hall Inquiry Continues

Transparency Committee Looks to UT System to Take Action

After voting on Monday that grounds exist to impeach one of the regents of the University of Texas System, members of a legislative committee say they hope to see a proactive response from UT's board of regents, which meets this week.

Panel Votes That Grounds for Impeachment Exist for Hall

UPDATED: The House Select Committee on Transparency in State Agency Operations voted Monday that there are grounds to impeach University of Texas System Regent Wallace Hall.

Committee's Co-chairs Respond to Simpson's Concerns

In a letter to state Rep. David Simpson, the co-chairs of the House Select Committee on Transparency in State Agency Operations wrote that if he wanted to attend the committee's executive sessions, he would need to take it up with the House parliamentarian.
