Tribpedia: 2010 Legislative Runoffs

After the March 2, 2010 Texas party primaries, there was no clear winner in eight Texas House primary races and two Congressional primary matchups. Runoffs were set for April 13, 2010. Voters who participated in the March 2nd party primary for which there is a runoff may vote in the runoff election. So may voters who did not participate in either party primary. There were runoffs in the following districts:

HD 14 Brazos County, State Rep. Fred Brown vs. Gerald "Buddy" Winn (Republican)

HD 47 Travis County, Holly Turner vs. Paul Workman (Republican)

HD 52 Williamson County, Larry Gonzales vs. John Gordon (Republican)

HD 66  Collin County, Mabrie Jackson vs. Van Taylor (Republcan)

HD 76 El Paso, State Rep. Norma Chavez vs. Naomi Gonzalez (Democratic)

HD 127 Houston suburbs, Dan Huberty vs. Susan Curling (Republican)

HD 83 Lubbock, state Rep. Delwin Jones vs Charles Perry (Republican)

HD 84 Lubbock County, John Frullo vs. Mark Griffin (Republican)

CD 23 Will Hurd vs Francisco "Quico" Canseco (Democratic)

CD 17 Rob Kurnock vs. Bill Flores (Republican)

SBOE District 10 Marsha Farney vs. Brian Russell (Republican)
