I see...we can eliminate teaching jobs, but we have money for race tracks. The games and toys of just older rich boys. If that don't say it all about the priorities of Texas' Gov. Perry and his ilk, then nothing else will.

These are programs that should have been totally shut down- and their staff let go- before the education budget was touched. This simply is NOT a proper role for limited government and I think you'd get agreement from the left AND the Tea Parties on that- but NOT the 'Austin Machine'.

Really? Teachers are going to have classrooms of 30 or more kindergarteners, and our "leaders" are wasting time on car racing? Really? This fund needs to be defunded and the money given to education, immediately.
