Deuell to Kitzman: Reconsider Consumer Rules

Kitzman also sent out a letter Tuesday — to members of the Legislature — addressing a recent editorial in the Dallas Morning News that was critical of the balance billing rules she proposed. In her letter, Kitzman emphasized she has not finalized the new balance billing rules.

Well, this is pretty revolting---if the GOP guys like Deuell consider her too "pro insurance"---well, I cannot even imagine how pro insurance that is! Head spinning.

When a repblican says"“There are many senators, Republican and Democratic, that are concerned that she’s a little too pro-insurance company,” (Sen. Bob Deuell, R-Greenville), you just gotta realize you are nothing more than the industries paid pawn. Not that we should be surprised a Perry appointee is beholding to the industry they regulate. It's the Rick Perry way!

Fire her. The Texas Residential Construction Commission had a mediation requirement as well. It was so ineffective that even a Republican legislature killed the whole commission. What is wrong with transparency in insurance? Bring on the Affordable Healthcare Act.
