Perry, DPS Leader Disagree Over Capitol Security
Gov. Rick Perry and his chosen leader of the state Department of Public Safety fundamentally disagree about how to secure the Capitol in the wake of a January shooting that rattled those who work under the dome and prompted renewed calls for stricter safety measures.

I can't believe it. An issue on which I actually agree with the governor.

While you describe accurately the issue and the difference of opinion between Governor Perry and Colonel McCraw, I thought your choice of headline was a little more provocative than is warranted in the circumstances. I'd be surprised if there weren't many legislators in both parties who feel the same way as the Governor, and even more who will reminisce about the good old days as they yield to this ever-more-ubiquitous fixture in modern life.
