Roger Williams "Welcomes" Obama to Texas
President Barack Obama will be in Texas today for a fundraising event, and at least one Republican running for U.S. Senate, former Texas Secretary of State Roger Williams is eager to welcome him to the state — sort of. He's using the opportunity to launch a new website and video comparing "the Obama economy" to "the Williams economy."
"We're going to talk about not just what he's doing, but why he's doing it," Williams told the Tribune, noting that this push would continue even after Obama's departure. "There's a lot to talk about and ...

Obama can take his Immigration Reform and get his buddy Calderone to pass it in Mexico, since their immigration laws ( which they actually enforce, unlike us) are harsher than ours. Thank you Rick Perry for refusing to agree to the White House request to meet Obama's plane!

Truly, Texas has a feral hog problem.
Taking their cue from Dubya's anti-intellectualism, buffoons such as Cornyn, Perry, Abbott, Patrick, and Williams gleefully cultivate the art of pig-ignorant provincialism. They do so for their own self-enrichment, engorging themselves at the public trough, luxuriating in the filth of their wallow, exhilarated by the stink of power, uprooting the ideals upon which this great state and nation were founded, trampling over reason and discourse and civility to serve their own hollow agendas.
You can put a dipstick on a pig, but it's still a dipstick.

Why does it always seem to come down to "if you don't like Obama....then you must be a racist or you must have supported Bush" with the Democrat/Liberal/Socialist/America-hating sheeple? It is like they can only think in 2 dimensions! I was not a big Bush supporter. People need to understand Democrat & Republican is just one snake with two heads!

@ Sherry - You are clearly uninformed. It is Perry that is wanting a meeting with Obama over the wildfires. But hey, go ahead
Dale H Curry via Texas Tribune on Facebook
@ Sherry -but heh, go ahead and tell it any way you want. It not like any t-party nutjob has told the truth yet!
Dale H Curry via Texas Tribune on Facebook
As for Williams. Just another Tparty nutjob looking to race bait, tell other lies about the President and his policies in order to generate more support amont the tparty bigtots. This has been going on so long, and has happened in TX so often that it has become predictable
Dale H Curry via Texas Tribune on Facebook
And what dealerships does this tparty bigot own? I too want to ensure everyone I know does not purchase anything from him.

@ Sherry Well I stand corrected, he did turn down meeting the President. But he wants to meet with the President to discuss Federal disaster relief. He just does not want to do it publicly. Our governor is the biggest hypocrite our great state has ever created. And considering Dubya and Cornyn is from here, that is saying a hell of alot. So, lets recap. Perry screams about Federal spending from the point Obama takes the oat of office, blaming Obama on day one for the Bush/Cheney economy and deficit (1.3 trillion in the hole the day the Presdient toook office). Then when he is offerred the chance to meet the Pres on a visit to Austin, he declines becvcause it is too public. Then his office tells the tribune he wants to meet the President to disucss Federal Disaster Relief for the wildfires. So, its pretty clear to me, Perry really does NOT WANT the President to act, he wants to be able to campaign against it. Then there is the whole hypocricy of Perry/Cornyn begging for disaster relief from ther President.

And even more so , Perry is asking for money they already got for the wild fires. We got accepted for grant relief insider news reveals.

SG: So President Obama pumps billions in Chrysler to preserve it's operations and our Secretary of State shows his gratitute w/ a video. Been interesting to see what would have happened if Chrysler had gone Chapter 7.

Roger Williams is my absolute last choice for Senate. He is a complete waste of time and a Party hack.
