Budget Cuts Threaten Food Safety Research Center
Within 80 miles of Weslaco, there are nine bridges linking the United States and Mexico. Tons of agricultural products move between the countries each day: Vegetables from Mexico and cantaloupes from Central America arrive in Texas while beef and grains are sent to Mexican markets and beyond.

Who needs safe food? This will bring back "food tasters" for the rich- more jobs. Of course, more funerals, but, hey, aren't poor people expendable?

Congresscritter's don't care about food safety unless of course it affects political donation...please report all food poisoning to your congressman and see if you get a response or merely a letter of condolence.
