Insiders on How the Budget Will Be Balanced
State finance people are not kicking out much information, but insiders think the budget shortfall next year will be in excess of $15 billion. Two-thirds of them think it'll be more than $20 billion.

Perry never stated that the education budget was off the table for cuts when he was running, unlike Bill White that said no education cuts. Blame Perry, and those that voted for him!

This is a hit piece disguised as news. Wake up everyone Texas budget is not in as much trouble as the author thinks it is.
