Chet Edwards Releases Ad Attacking Bill Flores
A new ad from Democratic incumbent U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards, D-Waco, went up on television today.
Entitled "Back," it questions the trustworthiness of his opponent, Bill Flores. It highlights a claim made Flores that he had voted for fellow Republican Rob Curnock in a previous election. The Edwards camp has pointed out, and had confirmed by PolitiFact Texas, that Flores has no history of voting in the district.
Edwards is the second CD-17 candidate to advertise on television this week. Flores took to the airwaves on Wednesday

Weak. Is that all you've got, Chester?

Hm, I guess the Whattaburger narrator needed more work.

I don't get supporting Chet - bullhockey (really Tribune, can't say chickens$#t?) about just to keep the gavel. He voted against healthcare reform, against including gays & lesbians in hate crimes, against repealing don't ask, don't tell. I'd rather lose the gavel than support a yellow-bellied, chicken shoot weasel who prioritizes staying in office over his principles and integrity
