For one week, Montague County held the distinction of being the only Texas county that now-Democratic gubernatorial nominee Bill White failed to win in the March 2 primary. And he hadn't simply lost it — he had been demolished by virtually unknown San Antonio physician Alma Aguado. Inquiring minds wanted to know: What's so different about Montague County? Do you suppose this type of Election Results data error can happen in other counties? If so, what is in the election system to prevent against or catch the error, other than journalists writing about it?
