Obstacles Exist on Path to the Top of the Org Chart
Maybe you work in a big organization, with relatively young and healthy people at the top.
That’s just wonderful, unless your plans include upward mobility. You might as well be a Texas politician.
Democrats can’t move up the food chain in Texas until they’ve changed a political environment that will currently elect a Republican for every statewide office, whether or not that Republican is the best person for the job. It’s not the content of the candidate’s character that matters most — it’s the color of the partisan flag.

Texas seems intoxicated on too much money and good times and way too much narrow mindedness in its politics. Seems time to build more diversity of viewpoints into Texas politics --- maybe some liberal and conservative in each party rather than lopsided one way or the other. Look what that did to the U.K. Build a bigger tent, Texans, and roll out that Texas hospitality to the younger generation with fresh ideas.

I just wish that all the State Politicos would stop with the talking points about national issues and take care of the Texas issues first. I realize that national issues affect TX, but the Gov. Lt. Gov, and Legislators talk about Washington need to get fed up about TX first. Seriously, solve these long-term budget issues before worrying about cheerleading and dogs.
