Combs, Not Yet a Candidate, Flashes Cash

Comptroller Susan Combs isn't a 2014 candidate yet, but she wants you to know that some of the Republican Party's money people are on board and that she's got a pile of cash in her campaign treasury.

Combs has said she's interested in the lieutenant governor's job, if it's open. Earlier this week, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst announced he'll run for U.S. Senate next year.
