Video: In First Major GOP Debate, Paul Gets Feisty

As everyone waits for a certain Texan to announce whether he plans to run for president in 2012, another Texan made his intentions more clear Monday night by participating — in feisty fashion — in the first major GOP primary debate.

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, appeared on stage at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire alongside six other White House hopefuls: former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

Ron Paul dominates debate. I think every other candidate at some point tonight used the phrase "as Ron Paul said." http://tinyurl.com/3janrxc also vote in the online poll and watch the post debate interview....as far as the"crazy uncle cooter" remark....Nothing crazy about respecting the constitution and protecting individual liberty

It wasn't a debate. The candidates were just short of kissing each other. This was a highly televised Obama bashing. I wouldn't vote for one of those (epithet of your choice)

Every candidate is now trying to sound like Ron Paul but just look better in a suit. The problem is that it just makes them look less sincere and reminds us of all the trouble we are in.

Ron Paul may be the nerd on the playground but he is the nerd with all of the correct answers.

This country can follow the cool kids straight to unemployment with nothing to talk about but the "glory days"...but you do have a better choice. Do you have the courage to make it?
