Ron Paul Still Pushing to Win Texas
Ron Paul hasn't won a single state in the 2012 Republican primary season. And yet Thursday's rally in the shadow of the LBJ Library at the University of Texas rivaled any crowds Mitt Romney or President Obama could draw at a campaign appearance.
Audio: Ben Philpott's story for KUT News
Paul fed off the crowd's excitement. He seemed giddy at times just to have such a large crowd to speak to about ending foreign war, doing away with the Federal Reserve, returning to the gold standard and legalizing marijuana.
But Paul also addressed the 800-pound gorilla ...

Ben Philpott,
This article is a prime example of "The Big Lie" and I've just added it to a list as the BEST example in recent days.

You are lying. Show me the "crowds" you suggest "rival" those for Ron Paul.
You cannot. Such crowds for other candidates don't exist. Those "crowds" never have existed during this entire campaign for any candidate EXCEPT for Ron Paul.
You might just be another lazy pretend "journalist" simply going thru the motions to collect a paycheck and that might explain the complete falsehoods contained within your piece.
Whatever the explanation, this crap you just signed your name to is "The Big Lie".

Lies:
"... rivaled any crowds Mitt Romney or President Obama"
You either need to do some better research of the crowds or the english language
Definition for reference: "One who attempts to equal or surpass another,"
Ron Paul has, by far, the biggest crowds, bar none, nobody else comes close.
"The fact that he's far behind Romney and will not win the nomination."
You seem misunderstand the word "fact"
There are some people saying he can't win, these are lies spread by disreputable media sources.
Do some research for your article instead, reference delegate counts and how they work
before you spread lies please.
In essence, your article paints a very misleading picture for the reader.
It would be appreciated if you could correct your mistakes.

Agreed. It's not only that. The article is rife with anti-Paul sentiment, even in the headline: "Ron Paul Still Pushing to Win Texas", like Paul is an old fool who doesn't know when to quit. And of the two people quoted, one says he's voting for Paul even though he "knows Paul won't be the nominee" and the other says Paul has no "momentum going into the summer." This pro-establishment horsecrap belongs on the editorial page

re:"Supporter Alex Zhu plans to vote for Paul in the May 29 Texas primary. He knows Paul won't be the nominee, but that doesn't mean rallies like the one last night are pointless, he said."
... this is a prime example of how the news media is using psychology to make people think that Paul can't win this. Every time you read this, think the opposite because they are trying to influence your vote. If you vote for Paul, he will win. Stop listening to the news media because they are lying to you. The more they lie, the more Paul wins..

Ron Paul isn't feeding off the crowd, he's feeding them and the more he gives the more they love him. Yep...Ron Paul for President 2012, at last a man worthy to hold the office.

Funny, when I read the news coming from the state GOP delegates in Alaska, Louisiana, Iowa, Minnesota, to name a few, Ron Paul delegates are gaining in numbers, position as chairman, vice chairman, secretary, and such. . .and sometimes sweeping the states delegates. So if Ron won after the beauty contest straw polls, do you count that? Especially since now Gingrich is leaving the race, there will be more delegates who may swing to Ron Paul. Santorum's did. Why did the main stream media report Iowa is a Ron Paul win? Also, after watching the news of Romney's microscopic crowd attendance at ho hum rallies, it is plain to see that his campaign makes their own signs, hands them out, and retrieves them after the rally. They also hire people from Manpower temps to stand outside holding signs and wearing tees. This is creating a false reality. So, how is immense crowds for Ron Paul nation wide anywhere near 5- 6000 screaming supporters called rivaling Mitts? Are you serious? The 800 LB gorilla in the room is that the GOP is Corruption Inc.

I know I will vote for Ron Paul, he is the only one who in really engaged and in it with his heart. Rest are just postering, saying all the right things and we know they don't mean it.
