Perry Gets Roughed Up in Second GOP Debate
Last week Gov. Rick Perry faced attacks from the left during the debate among Republican candidates for president, with Mitt Romney repeatedly questioning his commitment to Social Security. On Monday night, the harshest hits came from the right.
And they didn’t only come from Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts. During the CNN/Tea Party Express debate in Tampa, Fla., both U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, struggling to stay relevant, unleashed on the Texas governor, attacking him for his failed 2007 executive order mandating the HPV vaccine for ...

Perry is in the well of national politics. He may think he's doing well, but he's is full of himself. Absolute power has corrupted him! Well, they did it again! The seven dwarfs and Queenie Meanie! Speaking of "Queenie Meanie", she lost big time as she rambled on and mentioned president Obama in every response, while estolling her massive experience! Romney should have stayed on the "career politician" angle along with the immigration issue and seen a bit more momentous. Paul held his own, but Perry got skewered! In my eyes of Texas, both Perry and John Huntsman lost due to thinking too hard for specific "Sound Bites" to air in their commercials! One wonders if Perry will ever realize he's very close to Mexico and there are a bunch of Latino/Hispanics seeing his true colors. I heard more disparaging remarks about Obama than real fixes for the economy and jobs in America! Huntsman killed himself! Obama Won!

Barring a profound misstep, Perry seems likely to be our next President. He tells people what they want to hear, and they like it.

Perry held his ground. The audience really roughed up Ron Paul though for telling the truth.
The real story starts with why Sarah Palin was chosen as McCain's running mate in 2008.
Think you know who she really is?
Think you know what her real agenda is?
Think you're entitled to the truth?
You betcha!

Stronger my @$$, he got beat the heck up... When the Democrats go after him the gloves will come off. Scary Perry us too big a target, too big a risk...

maybe if you threw in some killer boots he'll go for 8,9 grand minimum

Uh . . would it be rude to mention that prior to the "debate" and even prior to his candidacy for president Perry often has been under attack from the right?

I have to wonder just WHY this man wants to be President of the US. Oh...and we can't rebuild the White House if it burns down! Sorry... This middle-class under-insured Born and bred cowgirl is out of money!

Even though I can't stand Bachmann, I was glad to see someone call Perry out on the rest of the story on the HPV vaccine. His order had nothing to do with protecting life...it was about protecting his contributors' pocketbook.

8 or 9 grand, some killer boots ( now made in China, not Texas) and a Armani suit

Perry's trying to present himself as something he isn't...and THAT dog won't hunt.

Regardless who the Republican front runner (or later the nominee) is, the media will savagely attack him/her in an attempt to keep President Obama in office. Bush may have driven the economy into a ditch, but Obama took it off a cliff, and yet they will stay loyal to him no matter what.

You got that right Sandy! I wonder why nobody's mentioning that he also mandated that BOYS also get the vaccine. Talk about a jackwagon move....

Hahaha you dream on Mr Miner....

Perry can not have it both ways. When he choose illegal aliens over Americans he made it clear his side. Now Romney or Bachmann I think would not turn on Americans.

Rudy you are full of your self

We must defeat Obama
For you voters like me, that don't want Obama to get a second term.
Please work your but off to see that Perry does not get the GOP nod.
Perry can not beat Obama, I will give odds on it...
Even myself who can't stand Obama will vote for Obama before Perry.
At least Obama never said he would like open borders with Mexico.
Perry in his 2001 speech, said he agreed with Vincente Fox's dream of open borders with the US...
It's on his Gov website for Texas.
He gave free medical to illgels and even on the Mexican side of the border.
All on the tax payers dime. Ron Paul said his tax's have "tripled" since Perry took office.
The "citizens" that can not afford school or things like going to the dentist but he gives the house away to all illegals.
When you come across dirt on Perry, post it so we the voter know..........
Palin and Romney are the two that can beat Obama.
24,000 emails and she comes out smelling like a ROSE..
Romney is a honest man, he would also come out clean.
Perry made sure he deleted all his emails some time back.
Now the law says he has to keep them.

For you imbeciles that like Perry.
You think because you have a pension plan, your safe, think again.
Many things could happen, then you loose it.
So Sec is the best thing that every happened for seniors, just ask them.
Medicare is the best thing that ever happened also.
That scum Perry if he has his way, will do away with it.
Romney and Palin said it is good, just need a fine tune.
