Rick Perry Endorses Former Rival Romney for President
Hours after Newt Gingrich announced he would end his presidential campaign next week, Gov. Rick Perry threw his support today to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
"Mitt Romney has earned the Republican presidential nomination through hard work, a strong organization, and disciplined message of restoring America after nearly four years of failed job-killing policies from President Obama and his administration," Perry said in a statement emailed Wednesday by his former press secretary, Ray Sullivan.
Perry has signaled he might want to run for president again, but he said in the email that he would work hard to help Romney defeat ...

"Abbott Exposes Millions of Texans’ Social Security Numbers
AG releases file containing over 13 million Texas SS numbers.
Misuse avoided only by vigilance of opposing counsel.
A legal brief filed by opponents of the Texas Voter Photo ID law reveals that Attorney General Greg Abbott exposed millions of Texas voters’ full Social Security numbers to possible theft and abuse.
The brief, filed Monday, April 23, 2012 states:
“… after vigorously fighting the production of data containing full Social Security numbers, Texas mistakenly produced to Intervenors data from the VR [voter registration] data base that contained full Social Security numbers.” ( Defendant-Intervenors’ Motion for Clarification of the Trial Schedule, 4/23/12, page seven.)
Texas voters escaped public release of their Social Security numbers only because of the vigilance of conscientious lawyers working against the Voter Photo ID bill. Rather than attach the files to documents circulated to other attorneys or expose them to access by the general public, opposing counsel immediately notified the AG’s office of the bungled release of private data. Abbott then, at the expense of Texas taxpayers, sent a courier to both New York and Washington, DC to retrieve the files. As the brief details:
“Intervenors immediately notified the State and, at the State’s request, Intervenors ceased all review of the VR data that had been provided, with the State sending a representative from Texas to collect the VR data disks personally.” (Defendant-Intervenors’ Motion for Clarification of the Trial Schedule, 4/23/12, page seven.)
Abbott’s negligence constitutes one of the largest risks of public identity theft in recent memory. Last year, Texas Comptroller Susan Combs received bitter criticism for releasing the Social Security numbers of 3.5 million Texans. In this most recent case, had the files not been handled carefully and responsibly by legal counsel opposing Abbott, as many as 13 million Texas voters’ Social Security numbers could have been exposed to potential illegal misuse and identity theft."

We are much better off now than we were when Obama took office--much better and people don't realize how much Obama has done because of the GOP LIES. The Obama administration economic policies fail to fix the economic mess created by the derivatives in 1998. During the Obama watch we had 166,938 business bankruptcy and 4'466,392 non-business. Our students loans outstanding is over 1 trillion Dollar, the total mortgage debt outstanding is 2.8 trillion Dollars and foreclosure is on the rise, 29% of the US homeowners have their homes under water with a negative equity. Americans racked up nearly $48 billion in new credit card debt in 2011, 424 percent more than what they charged in 2010, and 577 percent more than in 2009. Although total outstanding credit rose only about $4 billion, that number was largely offset by the magnitude of consumer defaults-$44.2 billion worth, off $2.54 trillion. First-quarter pay-downs have become less significant and the amount of new debt added in each subsequent quarter has grown compared to its respective counterparts in the previous two years; this is do to the unemployment and underemployment that is close to 20%. We have millions of homeless and many living with relatives because they lost their homes.
Fellow Americans, from 1998 to the present Bush,Obama and the incompetent Washington representatives have learn nothing from the economic meltdown of 1998; this was the result of the economic policies of the genius of the US economic; Alan Greenspan, Robert Rubin, Larry Summers Timothy Geitner, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Not to mention the corrupt Washington politicians that are in the pocket of the Wall Street Financial lobbyist. Now this coming economic meltdown is the work of Obama, Timothy Geitner, Larry Summer, Ben Bernanke and the corrupt Washington politicians, Obama do not have a clue as to what to do to fix this mess and he continue making the same mistake that Clinton and Bush did. The US Treasury is destroying America, they are guilty of making millions of Americans poor, homeless and economic slaves, their policy do not spare any one that work for a living they demise the wealth of the middle class and made this huge national debt 15.5 trillions Dollars.
