In Tough New Ad, Paul Plays Texan Card
Showing no signs of quitting the 2012 race, Ron Paul is attacking his Republican rivals in a new ad as a "debt-raising fiscal liberal," a "moon colony guy" and a "moderate from Massachusetts" — and playing up his Texanness.

Wow. Ron Paul just doesn't want to be elected. After 8 years of Bush and the amazing showing of Rick Perry, he doesn't seem to get that Texan, in national politics is a bad word.
And he will "Stand up for Texas?" You are running for President - you are supposed to stand up for EVERYONE, not just a single state.

This is an ad to be run specifically in Texas. So what's wrong with playing the Texas card IN Texas?

Plus I think EVERYONE knows that even though there is a Texas thread between the three men, that's where the commonality ends.

Another carpet bagging Yankee claiming to be a Texan. Will wonders never cease?
