Some Lessons Learned From the GOP Convention
National party conventions haven’t changed much since the 1970s, when primaries began to replace smoke-filled rooms as the chief mechanism for selecting Democratic and Republican presidential candidates.
They have become giant TV studios.
The big decisions — namely the selection of the presidential and vice presidential nominees — generally are made weeks, if not months, beforehand. Dissent and drama are heavily discouraged. The main mission is message promotion — through as many media echo chambers as possible.

RNC had proved that it is a continuing criminal enterprise. If the new rules where in effect in 1976 Ford would have taken Texas (over Reagan). Apparently the Team Romney thinks they can win this without the grassroots and some of us are planning to let them prove it.
Any RPT bigshots that supported these draconian rules will have a big target on their backs.

What I learned from the republican convention, they are unapologetic of their opposition to this President and are perfectly wiling to sacrifice the good of the nation to ensure his defeat. And that Paul Ryan is a very good liar.
