Rep. Lozano Aims to Show That He Belongs in GOP
When he gets older, Carlos Lozano may very well boast that even as a newborn he had a prominent role in his father’s up-and-coming political career.
Or Carlos may choose to distance himself from what could be a strategic, and career derailing, mistake. In state Rep. J.M. Lozano’s latest ad, Lozano tells his infant son why he is running for office: “A man named Barack Obama is ruining our country.”
It is the latest and boldest effort by Lozano, a freshman Republican from Kingsville who was a Democrat just two months ago, to boost his conservative credentials ...

This is not an educated district and Lozano appeals to the dumbest voters. One election he's a Democrat for Obama and then next he says "He will fight Obama who is ruining our country" As if he didn't know Obama's agenda before his polls told him to switch parties. This guy has gotten fat off government but once again he represents the fattest district in Texas.
There is a good conservative running and Yvonne Toureilles the Democrat served the house with distriction- a quiet hard worker for education.

This is probably a convenient time for a big-picture fact: the Republican Party is an anti-tax, anti-government party, not the party of fiscal responsibility.
Recent history doesn't leave any room for doubt. GOP officials spent the last decade putting two major tax cuts, two wars, and Medicare expansion on the nation's credit card. Republicans not only failed to pay for their agenda, they didn't even try.
All of a sudden, in January 2009, these identical Republicans decided the single most important priority in the nation is reducing the debt they'd just spent eight years increasing by trillions of dollars. By now, the rhetoric should be familiar -- we're facing a "debt crisis" that will crush our children, bankrupt our government, and quite possibly destroy civilization.
And how do we know they don't mean it? Because they want all of the Bush tax cuts left intact, at a cost of trillions of dollars over the next decade, and the same Republicans in a faux panic over the debt don't have the slightest interest in paying for these tax breaks.
Stupid people can blame President Barack Obama for all of the troubles this country has. But they are stupid... and there is no cure for stupidity.
Republicans are Cons... They have perfected there sleazy ways of existance.
It's so obvious but they get away with it because they're grifters. Cons. They perfected it.
