As anyone who has been tracking this, it may be more about SuperPac / independent expenditures than almost anything else. A check of $$$ spent by Freedom works has been around for a long time and it has been for Cruz. Club for Growth has also jumped on his bandwagon.
The $$$$ spent should be an embarrassment to politicians - but I'm not holding my breathe!

Who do these pollsters call? I've been a registered voter in Texas for 30 years and I been contacted twice for a political poll. It strikes me as odd that Dewhurst is ahead according to their figures. 99% of the Republicans I know are voting for Cruz.
