Cornyn Says Election Shows Voters Trust Neither Party
Following a Veteran's Day celebration at an elementary school in East Austin on Friday, Sen. John Cornyn reflected on Tuesday's election, saying Republicans could have run stronger candidates in some U.S. Senate races. But the National Republican Senatorial Committee chairman gave President Obama credit for running a strong campaign that got his party's supporters to the polls.
Cornyn, the soon-to-be senior senator from Texas — Ted Cruz is replacing retiring U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison — spoke about what lies ahead for him if he becomes Minority Whip, and the potential gridlock in Obama's second term. He also gave his thoughts on Cruz's Tuesday night victory, and whether Congress will be able to avoid the "fiscal cliff."

Crony Cornyn, Perry, Boenher, and the rest, get an “A+”, dividing, degrading, putting down, manipulating, and hurting the spirit of America. Seems like everyone has had enough of their big game? Vote away the rest of them in 2014.

Senator Cornyn is the waterboy for the GOP. He runs the Senate Republican Committee, responsible for shoring up the GOP defenses in deception, subterfuge, and propaganda. God help you if the FACTS get in your way. While he is flying around in his private jet that is supplied to him. (So he can be more responsive to his constituents).
He recently got his BUTT handed to him and LOST huge ground in the make up of the senate. His TeaParty quacks not only got defeated but in some cases where the Dem won - the state was carried by the GOP. WOW that looks really bad John.
Texas needs better. Not extremist but honest to by God Texans who vote for Texas and not a philosophy drenched in the 1%. It has and will always be Texas till I die, and this state is turning around for the better. It is ALWAYS in our best interest to let people like Cornyn look through that curtained veil of corporate greed and SLAMMING down those less fortunate and keep believing that it is what HE says and not what happened.
He complains about the "entitled" people on medicaid and food stamps and when you ask him about that private jet that he flies around in his response is GET OVER IT. Look who is feeling ENTITLED. If you have the money to fly your own jet then do it. I don't feel the least bit envious. Its your money. But hey JOHN who is paying for your jet?
God Bless Texas

I liked his comments about people being humble. A lot of the rest of the answered seemed 'canned.'
