Little Competition but Big Differences in U.S. Senate Race
Republicans continue to dominate politics across the state. The party’s fundraising outpaces its rivals', and a strong anti-Washington sentiment has resonated with voters for years. All of that, analysts say, is working against Democratic Senate hopeful Paul Sadler.
But on the campaign trail, Sadler doesn’t focus on his odds of winning but rather on pointing out the stark differences between him and his Republican opponent, Ted Cruz — starting with federal health care reform.

BIG DIFFERENCE. Paul Sadler talks about issues.

Ted is all but assured to be the next viper from Texas to be thrown into the pit with the rest of the vipers in DC.

Paul Sadler doesn’t focus on his chances of defeating Ted Cruz because he has none, as evidenced by the fact that no Democrats are giving him any money at all.
Sadler raised & spend twice as much money in his failed attempt to become a TX State Senator!
Somebody had to lose to Cruz, and Sadler drew the shortest straw - that's all there is!

Sad, too, since Sadler would be so helpful to the whole country while Cruz will help sustain gridlock and obstructionism.

Tio Tomas Ted.
Just wish the people would quit voting against their own best interest.

What Ted doesn't mention is that the fed actually gives Texas back more money than they pitch in. This is NOT the case with other states, generally blue states that actually pay more to help our state. When is Ted going to be held accountable for his future plans?

Before federal spending, all of those powerlines and roads out in West Texas just didn't exist and there was no businessman or anyone else able or willing to do the job.

There is a stark difference between Paul Sadler and Ted Cruz as Texas has languished at or near the bottom of the list in health care for middle and lower income people. Employers in Texas want to keep the lower and middle class down to keep wages down in Texas. Texas has said they would not accept money and comply with the PPACA(Health Care Act) but still hasn't cut Planned Parenthood loose as they realize the loss of millions to Texas' medical clinics.
