The nation needs senators like Ted Cruz who are committed to change in the dysfunctional Federal Government. There is a need to get back to the condition where tax codes are used to fund the government. Currently some of the individuals who have the largest income pay very little or no income tax. There is a need for collection of a % of every dollar earned by the individuals. The governments at all levels need to be reduced in both number and size. There has not been one suggestion to reduce the number of members of the Congress, the Legislature, or local Councils, but there have been many calls for laying off government workers.
