Can we please see his 1979-1983 returns. As voters, we have a right to know if he paid taxes on his Pony Expre$$ money.

and this steadily diminishing private sector income qualifies him for the u.s. senate? or is that how he seeks to regain his 'millionaire' status? sigh. craig james is to smu what rick perry is to texas, one just lives for the day he's only – and just – a bad memory. and, here's my disclosure, i'm an smu alum.

His diminishing income is mostly due to capital gains, which can very drastically from year-to-year depending on whether he sold off any of his stocks (or whatever). If he doesn't sell anything, than it's not taxable even if it increase dramatically in value. He very well may be much better off now than in 2006.
I didn't look close enough at his private business stuff (e.g., depreciation, amortization) to see if there was anything interesting there.
Basically, he's a very rich man with a horrible value system who would be bad for Texas.

His income keeps going down, down, down. It makes me think my taxes would go up, up, up with him in charge of federal tax dollars. I think he should stick to announcing scores and banging football groupies on road trips. He's a legend in his own mind and his own pants.
