Dewhurst Relies on Huckabee for Final Pre-Primary Ad

Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, running for U.S. Senate, has released his final television ad before the May 29 primary. It features former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee touting Dewhurst as "the only proven conservative in this Senate race."

Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, running for U.S. Senate, has released his last television ad before the May 29 primary. The ad, called "He's Done It," features former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee touting Dewhurst as "the only proven conservative in this Senate race." 

It's the third television ad Dewhurst has released in the last week. On Monday, his campaign unveiled an ad starring Gov. Rick Perry. Two days later, his campaign released an ad focusing on his success in business.
