Cruz is a complete nut.

Now maybe Sadler has a chance to get his message out. Cruz is a creepy conspiracy nut who serves the 1%.

How about including all candidates? John jay Myers is also on the ballot.

That is a horrible picture of cruz. LOL. C'mon!

What are the guidelines for debate inclusion? I feel as though third party candidates make political debates much more interesting to watch, and I would be much more likely to tune in. While there are some substantial differences between Cruz and Sadler, but there are also other voices worth listening to as well, and including more than two points of view in a political contest is nothing if not a cultivation of better informed voters building a more healthy, vibrant, and representative democracy.

By the way, what conspiracy theory does Cruz subscribe to? I mean, I know he's... literally... in bed with Goldman Sachs which may affect how he votes, which explains why you think he serves the 1%, but I'm not sure what you're basing your conspiracy charge on.

Here, here, Jason! I would think KERA as a taker of public funds and in the interest of fairness, would be willing to allow all candidates on the ballot to debate.

There doesn't have to be a basis for words to be spoken....that's the point.

Ted Cruz, the guy from Canada, and Paul Sadler a real Texan should have four debates on real issues that effect the poorest of Texans and the Medicaid laws that have been changed to benefit the administrators of the the Medicaid program in Texas.

Mr. Doan, you ARE kidding, right? How about the "UN is planning to take over Texas golf courses" conspiracy?

Please include the Libertarian candidate for the senate seat, Mr. John Jay Myers. He IS on the ballot in Texas, has an active campaign, has supporters, has raised money, and has received other coverage in the press to date.
The Libertarian Party is real, and people want to hear what they have to say. Thank you.

As ususal these debates will be moderated by biased left wing jackals of our decadant propaganda media who will ask biased questions designed to help the candidate they support and damage the candidate they oppose. Many of their questions will be nonsense and not germaine to the issues. Also, to left wing morons like Cummings and Criss, I say Cruz will be our next senator and Texas will be lucky to have him.

Although Paul Sadler will go down in defeat, Ted Cruz as Senator will make Texas a Purple State by 2014.

I'll be voting for Sadler although I know he is a long shot to win. The Texas Democratic Party will again be back in charge in Texas if Republicans continue down the path that Rick Perry and his cronies have taken us down for the last decade.

I'm a lifelong Republican but I'm voting for Sadler.
Do I agree with him on every issue? No. Do I agree with him on *most* issues? No. Do I even like the guy? No. Actually, I think he's stubborn and arrogant.
But I'd vote for the ghost of Jim Bowie before I voted for Ted Cruz.
It's not that he's with the Tea Party. Plenty of politicians have hitched their wagon to that bunch. It's not that his ideas are radical. Because I don't think even he believes in what he's saying.
Cruz is the worst type of senator Texans could send to DC. Cruz is not a real Texan and he doesn't speak for real Texans. Cruz is jockeying for a Palin/Bachman type position in the new Republican Party.

Paul Sadler is an honest, hard woking man for the state of Texas as proven during his tenure in the House and acoss party lines cooperation with Bill Ratliff, and seeks the truth and all angles of any legislative issue. What has Cruz done? Nothing; oh, a debate champion. Why try to look so calm when your are being tested by Mr. Sadler and his facts. With no answers? What was the martian comment regarding? I have know Paul Sadler for a number of years and he in a man of the highest integrity and can get the job done.
