Perry Up by 9 in New UT/TT Poll | 5/23/10
Republican Rick Perry leads Democrat Bill White by 9 percentage points — 44 percent to 35 percent — in the 2010 race for governor, according to the latest University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll.
Those numbers are identical to the results of a "fantasy race" between White and Perry in the February UT/Tribune poll, which was taken before Democratic and Republican primary voters selected the two men as their nominees. This time, 15 percent said they don't know yet whom they'll vote for, and 7 percent said they'd prefer "someone else." That last finding could be consequential: Libertarians ...

Schieffer came into this race with a stunning sense of entitlement. He learned the hard way that while having friends in high places might get you an Ambassadorship, having friends in the wrong high places sure won't win you any favors in a Democratic primary.

Nobody with a (D) after their name (or a RINO, in the case of KBH) has even a remote chance of unseating Gov. Perry in 2010.
The anti-Democrat tidal wave that is sweeping the nation, lead by the economy destroying policeis of Pelosi, Reid, and Obama, will be magnified in Red states -- where Obama is NOT on the ticket to draw otherwise indifferent voters to the polls.
The 2009 NJ gubanatorial election, where a Republican won in a very Blue state, will be the norm in 2010...not an exception. Look at the voters shift in VA, too.
It will be a clean sweep state-wide for Republicans in Texas in 2010. Rick Perry as Governor and Michael Williams as our next Senator.
