If Kristi Thibaut just beat Murphy last year, how is she classified as a sophomore? She is still in her freshman term.

I've been asked how I got to 198 legislators. 150 House members + 32 U.S. Reps. from Texas + 16 state senators on the ballot (there are 31, with 15 on the ballot one year, 16 the next). That's 198.
