A feckless Democrat vs. a surely pro-corporate, anti-people Republican. I just don't know who to care about!!
Let's not forget that Phil Gramm wrote the law that repealed the Glass-Steagall Act -- the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act -- which **deregulated the financial industry and paved the way for the economic collapse in the first place**. Two Nobel prize winning economists say he caused the financial crisis. (One of them, MIT economist Paul Krugman, calls him the "father of the financial crisis.") Oh, but let's listen to this charlatan complain about Obama's waste of your tax dollars. Liberals are bad!

"Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Phil Gramm and the Republican Hell!" That would make ACL really, really cool, especially if it was on the Verizon stage and was preceeded by Paul Krugman doing a mime act.
