We're all praying he doesn't become President.

Perry acknowledged God doesn't pick sides in politics. He also mentioned the nation needing God.
He also quotes lots of scripture which should be applied to TEXAS. Texas is the place that needs fixing.
Since Perry is aware of the intentional mess he and his party got Texas into, he's saying this prayer for God to save Texas from Perry and angry government , job losses (how many good people lost jobs with GOP budget axing) , low education priorities, denying people healthcare, promoting pollution, tax breaks for millioniares (Jesus said pay taxes to whom they are owed), lucre.
Woe to him that knows to do good and doesn't do it Perry.

I appreciated the part where Perry prayed for the President and his family. As opposed to the coded death threats from Psalms 109.

Hmm... Perry keeps praying for rain, resulting in record rain - in blue states. An omen for 2012? Meanwhile, in Virginia, Thomas Jefferson is turning in his grave.

I miss Molly and Ann. Would have loved to hear their takes on the developments of the last couple of months.

"The desire of power in excess caused angels to fall." (Bacon) and Perry may have a lot more in common w/Lucifer than the Man who helped the poor...
