Let me just go on the record saying I believe Mr. Perry deserves a good ass stomping.

This is exactly the sort of potential religious interference in government the Constitution was designed to protect against. More or less, Perry is saying that he doesn't believe in the founding principals of our country and is more than willing to discard his loyalty to the United States in favor if his individual beliefs. Damn glad he didn't make it in the primaries- he's a danger to true American freedom.

Glad we got that useful tidbit on the record. Now, to get Satan out of the way and truly put our public schools first....

Perry invoking the founders just shows he has never read anything about Thomas Jefferson and John Adams and their intentions.

Perry is referring to the Medina Valley High School graduation prayer issue; I notice he doesn't say that his side LOST. The valedictorian led the entire audience in a partisan prayer. Judge ultimately ruled against MVISD but not in time for the kid who sued. http://salon.glenrose.net/default.asp?view=plink&id=14392
As Judge Biery said in the settlement "What this case has not been about: The right to pray. Any American can pray, silently or verbally, seven days a week, twenty four hours a day, in private as Jesus taught or in large public events as Mohamed instructed. The Real Issue: Does the United States Constitution allow a government entity elected by the majority to use its power to tax and its agents and employees to support and promote a particular religious viewpoint not held by a minority?
One of the most interesting things about that case is what Judge Biery said about the irony of the separation of church and state issue as happening in the Medina Valley. http://www.txwd.uscourts.gov/opinions/cases/Schultz/Schultz-AppendixII.pdf
I can only think that Rick Perry believes that Judge Biery must be controlled by Satan, since Biery didn't agree with having high school graduation be a partisan christian event. Anyone ask if Perry is still on medication?

Perry has seen the political future and it does include him - so he dives off the cliff. The next 2 years are going to be really bumpy - and crazy...let's see how many GOP legislator's follow him down the rabbit hole.

Read this article and you might be surprised to find that the devil's biggest trick has been on us, for not believing that he exists. http://spiritdaily.com/lipsky2.htm

I think this might not have been the BEST way to start of the festival.

Idiot Rick Perry should spend more time with Kinky Friedman who believes that computers are the Devil's tool. In actuality, both Perry and Friedman ARE the Devil's "tools"

I have been around more than a few persons who were dependent on one substance or another, and all I can say is that his family and his doctors need to get together and stage an intervention. Anita?
